Could Not Cancel Family Phone Service Before Advance Payment Was Debited

I got a cell phone at a Walmart phone store. They advised me that it would be through familyphone. It was powered by T-mobile but had a bad reception.
My advance payment was due 8-4-12, at which time I told them to cancel. They ignored my request and debited my CC account. They call it no contract service, but it isn't. I now have to go to the bank to see if I can get it stopped.
