MyPhoneFiles.com
Provided "test" sending text message to your cellular phone, promising mp3 uploads. Impossible to do.internet

Electronics and household app.

MyPhonefFiles.com sells a program on the internet which alledgedly allows you to upload real mp3 songs to your cellular phone. They point out that they can't list every carrier and cell phone maker/style, so they provide a "TEST." The test requires you to input your cell phone number and click a "send" button. They assure you that if you receive their text message, your phone is compatible with their program.

Based on the assuring receipt of text, I "leased" the program for 6 months for $14.95. I tried quite literally for hours to upload an mp3 finding it impossible to do. I finally contacted VERIZON, and spoke with a wonderful special tech in the "wireless" division. He pulled-up MyPhoneFiles.com, tried the test himelf, and assured me MY Kyocera 47SE would NEVER work with this "program." He explained that the "TEST" merely sent my phone a text message, something any new phone can receive.

I maintain that "MyPhoneFiles.com" practices fraudulent BAD business, with intent to mislead and misrepresent. Teens and anyone who is gadget oriented will be fascinated w / the prospect of having their phone ring a true song. The TEST is a true "RIP-OFF", and another example of sloppy, smarmy business on the net. Myphonefiles.com had a disconnected phone number, and does not, a week later, acknowledge my concerns. The charge will be disputed of course.
