Electronics and household app.
I wanted a fuji s5000. Broadway had the lowest price on the internet. I called the 800 number to verify availability and was assured it was in stock.
I placed my order online with a confirmation that it was in stock. I received a phone call within an hour from Broadway suggesting that I buy a camera case, rechargable battery, extended warranty and memory card. I state that I want only the card and battery included in the stated price.
As I decline each item, the salesman became more surly and impatient with y lack of compliance with his pressure to by these additional items, warning me that if I add these items later it will cost more. I reiterate that I just want the fuji s5000
An email is sent within two hours of the online order with a time reference in GMT stating that my order cannot be processed until I call them. I call and talk to the same guy who clearly wants no part of talking to me. He does say that the item has already been processed.
After five days I track my order online. It says that the item is backordered. I send an email to the provided address asking the status. The reply comes within one day that the item mentioned is not available. I call 800 support number. I was told they don't have that camera and hung up on.
