HD projector world/BestAVStore
Don't know what bulb is for my projector I purchased from them

Electronics and household app.

I purchased an Acto projector from BestAVStore, HD Projector World in Feb. 2010. A year later we needed a replacement bulb. We run the projector alot. I am informed by Ronnie that my projector is discontinued and the new bulb will have to be made. He could not tell me what bulb would work for my machine and after a few e-mails he asked me what color the two wires coming out of the bottom of the bulb were. Mine happened to be black. He ordered a new bulb and after 5 weeks from when I first contacted him I had a new bulb. I have to say that this projector gives a great picture, but the bulbs go bad after about 3000 hours. We actually get up to 6000 hours but the picture is very degraded. He also reduced the price $50.00 for my troubles. Fast forward another year, March and we need a new bulb again. I spoke to Steven this time as Ronnie has advanced in the company. It was a difficult conversation trying to explain I needed a new bulb and Steven telling me they don't carry that bulb and it would have to be made and I tell hin a year ago when I ordered it they only needed to know it had 2 black wires coming out of the bottom of it. He said that would not help him and could I take a picture of it and e-mail it or box up the bulb and mail it to him so they would know for sure. I did not understand this inconvience to me and he got me to promoted Ronnie and though he vaguely remembered me from a year ago he e-mailed me pictures of assorted bulbs to see if I could find mine. The pictures came out blurry and did not help. I was offered to buy a new projector from them at a reduced price but I feared this would be my situation again when I needed a new bulb for that projector. A few days later on April 3 I called their company to get the address to mail my old bulb to them so they could have a new bulb made for me. I mailed it April 5 and on April20th I called to see if they got my package. I spoke to Steven and he checked and no they did not get it. On April 23rd I e-mailed a letter to Ronnie with the question of what are you going to do about my dissatisfaction with my getting a new bulb. It is April 27th and no reply from promoted Ronnie. I put in that message that their web site quotes" Our Mantra, is Customer Happiness Is Our #1 Priority". Our TV viewing has been reduced from a 110 inch screen to a 20 inch screen. My wife is severly disabled and TV viewing is her only form of entertainment with her eye sight very poor. I don't want sympathy only why sell a product to the consumer that when a part is needed there is no part number to go by and you have to mail the part to them so they know what has to be sent out to be made. I am very close to just pruchasing a new projector, not from them though, but we do enjoy the picture from this projector. I was looking for a web site to complain to BestAVStore/HD Projector world but this web site came up. Other shoppers need to be aware of them. Thank you if you can get the word out.
