Onlinecomponents.com
Bait and switch pricing, No product shipped, No refund

Electronics and household app.

I purchased some Cable Channel Raceway and Connectors for a small job. Onlinecomponents.com had a price per each, on their web page so I ordered what I needed. Later I was contacted by phone letting me know that the price was by the foot. This made them more expensive than going to Ace Hardware. They also said that the connectors, meaning elbows and the like, were also sold by the foot. This made no sense at all so I asked her about it and she insisted. I asked her to verify this and to hold the order until she contacted me. She never called back. I emailed their Customer service requesting that the order be canceled. I got no response and my credit card was hit for the order amount without adjustment, not even to what they were trying to get me to pay. No one returned my calls or emails. They never sent any part of my order and refused to refund me, telling my Credit Card company that they would issue a credit which they never did. I wouldn't trust them with a credit anyway. To me this looks like a classic Bait and Switch situation which in searching for "onlinecomponents.com" on Google, I came up with issues similar to this. I would advise against trusting this company.
