Dave's Electronics, Etc.inEPT technician shop - disorganized - broken promises, one after another, willfully ruined my CB

Horrible communication and listening skills from Dave... Took my CB and linear here because of a short in the linear. He told me the time frame was 2 weeks to give me an estimate. Checking back with him 3 weeks later, he said he hadn't gotten to it yet. To make a long story short, half a dozen phone calls later, he tells me it would be more expensive to fix than what I could buy a new one for. Asked him how much that was and he couldn't answer me. He then said the finals were blown in my CB. OK, then why did you disassemble my CB, purposely ruin it and then give it all back to me without the mic? By itself, before the visit, it was working fine. Just left it because it was mounted to the linear (another big mistake). Upon pick up, when I asked where the microphone was, he said I hadn't given it to him. I told him that I was certain that I had and that it was the excellent original equipment Cobra mic. When I insisted I wasn't leaving without a microphone, he grabbed a cheapo mic off the wall and begrudgingly gave it to me after acting like he was looking for it saying he hadn't seen it, convincing me he had purposely stolen it. What a worthless horse's ass here. Worst experience I've ever had for service of any type, my entire 47 years. Avoid at all costs!
