I am so disgusted with MCI Wordlcom Wireless. First let me start by saying my husband purchased a cell phone through them in 1999. They started off wonderful, absolutely no problems.
I would call to inquire about a bill and get a live person immediately that was pleasant to speak to. So Christmas 2000 he purchased another cell phone through them for me.
I received my first bill in late April. After numerous calls inquiring about receiving a bill, they tell me I'm not in the system. How can I not be in the system but have a working cell phone?
The bill was for December only. Where are the Jan-April charges??? Then the problems start, one after another. The bills start coming in 2-3 month periods with due date upon receipt. WHere is the grace period since you held up the billing.
So I try to cal and talk to a live person. IMPOSSIBLE! After being on hold for over an hour and getting a dial tone, I decided to write them a letter via e-mail but send a hard copy through the mail.
No responses at all. Finally in Sept after being completely fed up with their "delayed billing" process I send them a faxed letter and an e-mail in Sept to turn both phones off.
The phones finally get turned off in October, why did it take a month??? Here it is December and I received another bill with current monthly charges on them last night.
After trying numerous times they have a recording saying "do to numerous calls we are unable to take you call at this time". Everytime I call I get this recording.
After being onhold for over 45 minutes I FINALLY get a live person. The lady is absolutely RUDE!!! None of my invoices are reflecting payments yet she tells me the payments are there. Where are they??? Wh
