Scam, Fraud, Screaming and Yelling

Saturday, July 23, I took my 46" VIZIO flat screen TV to Royal Electronics in Bunnell. The clerk, Justin, told me that there were 3 TVs ahead of mine and that I would receive a call in 1 to 3 days. When I had not heard from them on day 6, I drove to the repair shop and spoke to the office manager/repairman. I asked him what was going on with my TV and he told me there was about a dozen TVs ahead of mine and they had not gotten to it yet. I informed him that I knew there had only been 3 TVs ahead of mine. He admitted that was true and said he would have it repaired by 4pm that day.

As soon as I plugged my TV in it was behaving exactly the same as it did before I took it in for repair. I paid $167.40 and nothing was done at all. I called and spoke with Stan King, the owner, who began drilling me stating that they do a 6 hour test and it worked when I picked it up and accusing me of sabataging my own TV. There is no way they tested this for 6 hours, it won't even stay on for 10 minutes.

Mr. King yelled and screamed at me when I asked if they could have one of their vans pick my TV up because I am a single mom living in an apartment and I cannot pick it up myself and I don't have anyone to help me get it to and from the car. He screamed that they don't give free service. He went back into calling me a liar.

The problem with my TV is when you turn it on it works for a few minutes and then begins flashing in a strobe like fashion and cuts itself off after only a few minutes. It did this immediately last night and again this morning. Now I fear walking into the business because of the way this man yelled at me over the phone and I don't want my child to witness something like that. They will not even refund my money, so I will have to pursue legal action against them to recover my loss.
