Ordered an Ipod Nano 5th generation 16gb thinking we'd been re-directed from Apple. We went through secure payment method and suspicions weren't aroused until my bank statement showed a payment going to a "handyhandbags.com". Thats when I tried to contact the company and found the only method of contact was an email address. I sent an email which bounced straight back. I received the fake Ipod this morning, from China, with all writing on front of packaging written in Chinese. I opened it to find a genuine iPod box, complete with serial number, and when I opened the box, on first sight everything looked great.inside the box was a cheap shoddy usb charger and a cheap pair of earphones, definitely not genuine Apple iPod items, and a pretty cheap looking instruction leaflet. I knew this wasn't right as I bought my son the same nano, different colour, the Christmas before last, so I know what should have been in the box. I plugged the fake iPod into my computer and wasn't asked to register with iTunes or anything. It skips songs, doesn't work with the earphones unplugged or anything.
Basically I've got a VERY good looking fake iPod that is complete and utter crap!!! And what grieves me the most is the fact that my autistic son wanted to buy me an iPod as an easter present and gave me the 90 the day after I'd payed for it online.
