Camera Kings
What an experience!

I had to shoot set up for a short and I needed an additional camera. On Tuesday I tried to locate the cheapest Canon 7D that I could find. I stumbled across Camera Kings and placed an order for the camera and 2 sets of glass (17-85 and 70-300). The savings were about $600. I overnighted the package because principal was starting this friday!

After I placed the order, I immediately got an email confirmation but I went online and began to read the negative reviews.

On wednesday, I contacted Camera Kings and spoke with Michael, a salesman. He was courteous and direct in reviewing my order and made some additional purchase suggestions (in the typical NY fashion-lol), which I declined. He told me my order would ship that day because everything I ordered was in stock.

Today is thursday and the UPS guy just dropped the box.in addition to saving $600 in this $2,176 deal, they threw a cleaning kit, a table tripod as well as a bag.

I don't typically write reviews but I do know this. There are always two sides to a story and yes, especially on the web. Some people may have had a poor experience with this company but I suspect some bloggers might also have ulterior motives. Know your source.

I'm glad I didn't react by cancelling my order and I will be placing more orders through them in the near future.

Incidentally, I ordered an IPad for my wife with the money I saved. Now, if only Camera Kings sold IPads...
