Mci/worldcom rip-off - 1.5 years of problems

5/00 Purchased a cell phone
9/00 Purchased an additional cell phone

Every month since 5/00 I have to go to THE ACTIVATION CENTER< MESA > to have them call in to get an adjustment on the account. Then I get the last two bills - on the let's catch up program they are having with their billing dept - and I have bills for $1200. Our plans are $59.99 for one and $49.99 for the other. This is outrageous. I have called my PRE-PAID Legal attorney for assistance as I can't get any help from the store we purchased the service from.in fact. I lowered my service to 19.99 and will pay out the last 5 months (cheaper than the $175 cancellantion fee). The other phone will be reduced to the minimum this week and a different service will be found. WE ARE SWITCHING TO VERIZON.

If you have other choices I suggest you not use MCI/WORLDCOM.

Also, got slammed by QWEST on my new fax line at the office for MCI long distance at 50cents per minute!!! Seems as though they offered a credit after I sat on phone for over 50 minutes on hold. We will have to see how that one comes out.
