Salable Goods
Jiao Hong Xin Electronics Thief - Scammer Beijing

Electronics and household app.

My husband saw an advertisement on Facebook for Salable Goods and decided to check out the site. The website has a live chat so he asked several questions and received quick and helpful answers. We selected in iPad for a Christmas gift and sent the funds via an international wire transfer on 11-29. On December 7 we received an email requesting more funds for customs. We were told that the following:

Because your item's price is lower china market 20%. According to the new regulation,
They asked the amount for tax as 180USD
Sorry because that is the new regulation. We could not know it early! Please be considerate!
So you need to pay180 USD to clear custom as soon as possible.
We really have sent out the products for you but they are detained at the custom of China now.

So another international wire transfer was done on December 8. Needless to say here it is December 22 and we have not received the item. We have contacted them numerous times and were told that our item had been sent to the wrong address, then it was damaged. We were told they were refunding our money on December 20 but again we have received nothing. Should have paid more attention to the old saying, "If it is to good to be true, then it usually is to good to be true." We are now reporting the site to the FBI Internet CrimeDivision and suggest everyone else do the same if this happened to you as well.
