Liberty Wireless charges $5 EXTRA EVERY MONTH even if you DO NOT use your alloted minutes! They call this a "cushion fee." If you do not use your cushion fee in 6 months YOU LOSE YOUR MONEY!

The only way to use it of course is to OVER USE your minutes. I NEVER have overused my minutes and they keep charging this fee! When you call a CSR you are on the phone everytime for greater than 30 minutes at a time to argue with them over this fee. I've been successful in having it removed a few times, but what a hassle! It's just a scheme for them to rob you.

If you notice on the internet your bill will be $5 higher every month! This is why! Also, a new charge now of $2.95 PROCESSING FEE Which is crap! If it wasn't in your contract when you signed (read it!) you do NOT have to accept it. I'll be fighting over this now for 6 months. At this rate - this pre-paid cell phone will be $100 in another 6 months when my contract is complete. I wrote the FCC (federal trade commission) with my complaint. You do the same!

Another trick they pulled is that my bill was due on the 19th and Libety Wireless cut my phone off on the 13th one month because they said I didn't have funds available. 6 days before it was due! And I prepaid UNTIL the 19th! They never did give me my money back for this episode either.in my opinion and I have had 6 months now of Liberty Wireless - this is the very WORST phone service ever! Do not get suckered up into it. GO with the GO PHONE from AT&T. It is pre-paid too and has to be better than this!

When I first ordered my phone in June of 03 they said it would be 5-7 days. The first phone they sent did NOT work! I called them and I had to send it back. I wanted a flip phone (like the ad) and the rep told me they were out of those. Finally I told him if I didn't get the flip model of some kind I would cancel this. He sent me a flip model that I learn now (6 months later) that has been discontinued for a very long time. It took 2 more weeks for this phone to arrive. I had to fight like hell to get my PRE-PAID money for these 3 weeks credited with about 6 different reps.

A lasting thougt... Every time I pick my phone up. I cringe because so VERY OFTEN there is no service. Your area of coverage is very limited. This is a TERRIBLE phone service. Beware!!!
