MagicTalk Defeats MagicJack

Beware of magicjack! Ipurchased a MagicJack with the promise of free long distance calls and themagic of placing calls through my computer. This lasted for a while. Then thecompany decided to release MagicTalk to a select few people as a Beta test andhere is where my problems started. I wasnt one of the lucky ones to get theprogram but I was one of the unlucky ones to get the popup demanding the numberto activate the program I didnt get. Now, the story gets better. Since I donthave this number I cannot get rid of the popup and as long as the popup isthere I cant use MagicJack. I now dont have MagicTalk and I cant useMagicJack.
I decided to contactcustomer support. What a mistake! I had contact with nine or ten differentpeople (technicians?) over a two day period, wasting about seven or eighthours. They all claimed they could solve my problem but when they couldnt orwouldnt spend the time, they just disconnected me and I had to start all overagain. If you have a lot of time to waste and like the interaction withtechnicians who are clueless, go for it. If you value your time and money, find another way to communicate through your computer.
