They sold me a used video card, not a new one, aside from rude customer service

Electronics and household app.

I went to geeks.com one day and found an ATI Radeon x700 Pro video card that I wanted to buy. I couldn't figure out how to register (to create an account) on their website as there are no apparent "Register" links or any other similar links, and registering is required if you want to buy from the website. This is evident because anytime I tried to purchase the card, the website wouldn't let me because I have to create an account first.

I called them directly (1-760-726-7700) and asked the lady how to register on the website. She said that I have to order by phone first in order to create an account. That didn't make much sense to me and I hesitated to speak for a moment. Then out of confusion I said, "Sooooooooooo, uh", and before I could finish what I was going to say, the lady mocked me saying, "Yah so, so!" At that point, I just hung up the phone.

Later I found the same video card on another website that I bought. But apparently, the website I bought the card from, was acting as a medium or third party for geeks.com. So it was geeks.com that I really purchased the card from. I've got an eMail confirmation that the video card was actually purchased from geeks.com.

A couple of weeks go by, I got the video card in the mail, and I'm excited to test it out. When I took it out of the box, it was CLEARLY not a new video card. It is a used video card. There are signs of tampering with the heatsink/fan. Two screws that hold the heatsink/fan to the video card are partially stripped and there are fingerprints and smudges all over the card, and one spot where something unknown spilled onto the card, and dried.

I eMailed customer service at geeks.com a couple of weeks ago and told them that I want another video card sent to me. I never heard back from them.
