Paramax Audio White Van Scam

Two men approached my brother and me in the Home Depot (Jersey City) parking lot. They were excited and seemingly in a rush, but told us they had just made a drop off at Trump Towers and their warehouse had put too many sound systems on their truck. They would keep it themselves, but they apparently lived all the way out in Ringwood and had to get back to work. They showed us an invoice for the product they supposedly just dropped off as well as a glossy magazine showing the product. Looking back, I know we were incredibly stupid, but we each bought one thinking we could resell it. We just thought we were in the right place at the right time! Anyway, these guys live in Ringwood, are in their early twenties and drive a reddish van. They were really nice and seemed like normal guys... Telling me their life stories! The guy lives in Ringwood, went to CCM and PAsaiic County Community College. He got into legal trouble at PEnn State in etc etc. Anyway, I found the number for Theater REsearch, their supposed employer and they only sell to supposed distributors and are unable to help you figure out the contact info for said distributor. Paramax Audio also has a website, but with only a fax number. This whole thing is ridiculous... Help!
