This is the second problem I have had with a Creative Labs rebate. The first was a few years ago (I did not know about usacomplaints.com then) and they ripped me off for a rebate for a Video Card I purchased.

Now I was just ripped off again for a $20 rebate for Creative Inspire 2500 Speakers I sent out on 3-18. I called in today and spoke with Doug at 1-800-998-5227 and he looked up in 2 computers to find any info on my rebate, but he could not find anything. I also called a few weeks ago and someone was suppose to call me back but no one ever called me back that is why I had to call in again today and spoke with Doug.

I have a copy of the rebate form, UPC, and receipt. But that is not good enough because for me to resend the rebate he said I need the original UPC which I already sent to them and they are saying they did not receive anything (yeah right, these are rip off artists I now believe especially since this is the second Creative Labs rebate I have been ripped off on). Funny I send out many rebates and rarely ever have a problem that is not fixed by a simple phone call to the rebate company. Well with Creative Labs / Best Buy rebates don't count on getting your rebate.

I will also be filling a report with the BBB and FTC about this fraud done to me by Creative Labs / Best Buy. After he told me I needed to send the original UPC if I wanted to resubmit the rebate I told him I already sent it, then he said it must of been lost in the mail and there was nothing they could do. Well then I said there is something I can do, I said I will be contacting the BBB and FTC (usacomplaints.com I forgot to mention to him, but hopefully they find my usacomplaints.com when they search on the net someday).

If you have a complaint against them and think my rebate form would help your case, I would be glad to help you out in taking these scumbag rip-off artists down. The first rebate I figured it may have been a freak thing, but it is not they are complete rip-off artists at Creative Labs / Best Buy rebates.
