Two $50 Rebates Rejected as Exceeding Household Limit

In good faith I took Western Digital at their word on the rebate offer made on a 200 GB hard drive (Firewire/USB). The rebate was for $50 and carefully examining the form there was no household limitations. All requirements on the rebate form were carefully matched and 2 individual submissions were made. As I have previously experienced a ripoff from Western Digital I mailed these 2 by certified mail return receipt. I have received both return cards back one dated 6/16 and the other 6/20 both stamped received with the name Bernardo Garcia.
On 7/12 I have received the following message on a postcard: Dear Customer, Thank you for participating in this promotion. Unfortunately we could not honor your request due to the following reason (s): You have already submitted the maximum number of claims per household, OR the information that should have been unique to your claim (i.E. Serial Number, Transaction Number etc. Matches the unique information from another claim.
Out of a total of 4 rebates submitted none have ever been honored.
