I purchased a Samsung MP3 player for my son in January. It wasn't working properly so we called Samsung and they told us that we had to send it in to be repaired under the warranty. Upon receipt of the shipping lable that they kindly sent us, we shipped it to them for repair. They had it for 35 days then shipped it back to us. It worked for a month then we began having the same problem at which time, we were asked to send it back in. Same process, same 35 days, same issue... Works for a week or so, then the cycle begins again.

Samsung agrees at this point to replace the MP3 player on September 12 - a process we were told would take 7 - 10 business days. When we still hadn't received the shipping label on the 15, I called to find out the status - it still wasn't sent to us until September 18. Ww shipped the MP3 out on the same day and the tracking shows that they received it on September 21. As of today, October 20, we still have not received the replacement.

To date, I have called a dozen times, sent a letter to the office of the President via USPS, email, and fax (3 times) as advised by the switchboard operator who hangs up in your face every time you attempt to reach a live person.

This company makes it impossible for consumers to extend trust to them. They send you to their "Eexecutive Customer Relations" department which has NO supervisors or managers working in it. The ECR department has no phones that dial out - so they can only communicate with their Returns Exchange Department via email, which the RE department clearly never answer.

Just WOW! Guess I'm going to have to file a theft report in NJ against Samsung.
