Abc warehouse tells you what you want to hear not the real deal! Which costs you in the long run

I went to ABC Warehouse 12/10/01 and purchased and Kenwood 350W amp, 2- 10" subs and a cd player. I started having problems with the whole system within 1 month of purchase.

Within 2 years, I had my car in there 7 times, everytime I took my car in for repairs to my system, they could never find anything wrong with it... I JUST found out the problem. I went into ABC Warehouse to buy a new system. I purchased a 500w Rockford Fosgate amp, and a 12" Rockford punch, with an awesome box, gray cloth, sealed, vented rockford fosgate tube/box. The car audio people, are the ones that helped me match up my system. I looked right at him, and said: " Will this speaker be able to handle this amp?" he said "absolutley, this amp will make this speaker pound... It will sound really good!" two days later I have a blown speaker.

I immediatley took it to Mickey Shoors, which I do believe is owned by ABC Warehouse. I had him look at my equipment, and he said " YOU BOUGHT THIS FROM ABC?" "THIS SPEAKER CANNOT HANDLE THIS AMP, I GAURANTEE THIS AMP WILL BLOW YOUR SPEAKER" He also told me that the amp was overrated from 500w, and only kicks out 477w... Which is fine. He said that the rms of the speaker is only 200w, and at peak power is 350-400w. The speaker is definilty to weak to handle the amp.

Now I know what kept happening to my Kenwood system. I still have a warranty on my kenwwod but I have to send it to another state. Box and all, do you know how much that will cost to have something that heavy shipped out of state. I purchased my equipment under false interpretations. They sold me two pieces of equipment that were not compatible with each other. Just to make a sale. I called and complained. (I am the queen of complaints) I went straight to the district manager Jim. He contacted the store and spoke to Rob, and instructed Rob to take care of the problem.

I replaced a speaker and to my doings my speaker was replaced with a HX2 4ohms dual voice coil. I had to go to the ABC on 15 and Gratiot. Pretty far drive from me, but no other ABC had it in stock. When I got there Rob from ABC called Gary the Mt. Clemens manager, and told him to leave eveything else alone and just exchange the speaker. Speaker for speaker. Gary took my box out, and put in a cheap q-logic speaker box. He told me that the box was not designed for that speaker... 12" speaker and a 12" speaker box... What was it not designed for?

ANOTHER LIE. Now I have to go back up there complain again... And get my original box. This is too much hassle I will never step foot back into ABC Warehouse again..
