HP refuses to honor new product warranty

Electronics and household app.

On May 5 I purchased a new (never used) k8600 printer from a HP outlet store. When I received the printer and attempted to install and use the K8600 printer it would not print correctly. From then on its been a disaster working with HP and trying to obtain a replacement.
Starting on May 12 I contacted their technical support. They cannot read the comments and attempts made before. It appears that the technical people have a written script to read from. Do step 1 then 2 then 3 then 4. Ok that didn't work so we go back to step 1 Nothing but a big loop and a waste of my time. Several days of this run around. Next demand a replacement.
Total care gets in the loop. You must verify your proof of purchase. Fax it to us at 800-563-4860. How many times before one finally realizes its another run around. Delay delay delay. Its never going to happen. I (only for the moment) wish I lived in California so legal action could be taken. I would like to be part of a monster class action law suit. Enough to get attention of this company. How can they survive treating the public this way? It appears I am only one of many that are in this situation with this Company.
