Philips DLP TV failed and replacement takes weeks to order

I bought a 60 inch Philips DLP TV in 6, when in 5 weeks of the warranty it went out. Philips does not make the TV or the parts to fix it, so they told me that it was almost two years old and they should not have to replace it. I had to call the corporate office to get something done. But the store manager, Luther, tells me it is going to take 6 to 8 weeks to order one, which is a Mitsubishi. If someone else were to go in and buy one today, they have one in stock. What is wrong with this picture?

Did I mention that I have bought 6 of 7 items and paid them off on time? They call me a V.I.P. customer. I wonder how they treat a first-time buyer.
