Speaker Scam Flat out bold faced deception

As with everyone else, 3 young men in a white unmarked van wave me down and proceed with BS story about "bad boss" and extra speakers loaded that they want to get rid of for there own gain.

They told me $600 for the set and I told them I had no money. After a while of dickering I had enough, so I got in my truck to leave and one of the guys said wait, we need to get rid of these, we can do better. They were very persistant, and eventually they came down in price to $240. Still skeptical, I had them remove the speakers from the box and they looked nice.

Upon setting them up at home, the sound quality was much less than I had anticipated. Wondering why, I began to take the speakers apart to find that only two of the four 5 inch speakers were even real, the other two were just faces.

Flat out bold faced deception. It's one thing to inflate a price on a product, but to acutally go as far as these guys did... They better hope they never run into me again.
