Bad business beware

Placed an order on Aug 14/08 for a digital camera since the price is what caught my eye... After checking the order status, which seemed to be processing the entire upcoming week, I called HD Camera World and spent 10 minutes on hold. After finally reaching a rep, I was told that the camera I was looking for was out of stock and scheduled to be shipping from their Canadian warehouse in two weeks... The rep tried to sell me the same camera, which was in stock, but claimed that it was more expensive than the one I had inquired about since it had a "magnesium" case / body. I researched the web for the camera I was looking for and it only came with a plastic body and no "magnesium" option was available. This simply showed that the rep was trying to sell me the same product and ask $150 more than the original price. Once I said no and told the rep I was going to wait 2 weeks for the camera to come in from Canada, he told me that I did not provide him with a three digit code found on the back of my credit card. Without one, the rep told me my order could not be processed. I again called HD Camera World about a month later and inquired about my order. I was able to reach a female rep, after only being on hold for 10 minutes. She told me that my camera was on back order till late September and would not be shipping until then. At that point I was simply fed up with their bullshit and had the order canceled. I strongly recommend not to deal with this company as their low prices may fool you as they did me. I did my research afterwards and found this thread to be really helpfull...
