Foto-Tronix, The TronixFoto-Tronix, The Tronix Fotoelectronics First sold me refurbished unit advertised as NEW! AND ripped me off on shipping

Already reported that they sent me tracking information and 3 days later still had not shipped my package. Charged me DOUBLE what UPS charges for 3 business day delivery. When my Garmin GPS arrived we tried to register it online so we could make sure it was working (you have 5 days to contact Foto-Tronix with problems and note they do NOT say 5 business days, or they will not exchange your item. You can not cancel a sale or get a refund.) and the warrenty was started.

When we tried to use the serial number to register it, it had been purchased December 18 from a WALMART!!! We had to call Garmin and it was confirmed it was refurbished. They said there was a bright yellow piece of paper from the factory with the paperwork that came with that unit. It was not there, it had to have been removed by Foto-Tronix.

We straightened out the issue with Garmin and they are going to give me the full warrenty. I wrote to Foto-Tronix and complained that it wasn't new but used and I paid the price for a new unit. I wanted my shipping refunded AND I was calling the State Attorney General in DE and reporting them.

They have never acknowledged my email stating that it wasn't new (I copied and pasted the ad right from the website to prove it). I spoke with the SAG today and I have a case against them. I hope that if you have ANY trouble with this business that you too will contact the SAG and file a report against them. Maybe they will stop ripping people off then.
