Scam Artist: Mark Somrest tried to get me to deposit check into account which was a fake check

Thanks to this site I was one of the lucky ones that didn't deposit the check into my account. I did however take it to my bank and the teller told me it was a fraud check and that if I had deposited it I would have had my account closed and charges brought against me. So I thought since I found this site that I would add mine to it. That way others will find out also before they make a big mistake. Here is one of the Emails that was sent to me just recently.

This is a confirmation of your employment, and also a notification of your first official assignment, this first assignment is a trial assignment, and the effeciency and effectiveness with which its handled, would go a long way in determining how your promotion and continual employment with us will be administered.

Payment has been sent to your information and will be delivered to you today, as soon as you have the receipt of the first payment, I will urge you to have the Payment processed at your bank, and deduct your 10% wages as agreed in the job offer letter and have the remaining funds wired via western union money transfer to our company accounts officer and Regional Warehouse manager in Alabama, with the name and address below.

NT: The western union money transfer fee should be deducted from the remaining balance. Here are the Accountants that you are to process the funds to you are to split the funds into two equal parts to the order that they are listed below:
