Bait and Switch attempt, non delivery of item offered after 2 months

Ordered camera May 27. Received email next day to confirm order and was told that the battery was disposable and that I needed a better battery. Told that memory card was insufficient and I needed an upgrade. Prices for upgrade items were far above local Best Buy and Circuit City so I retained original order.

June 3 called to verify shipping and get tracking number and told item was on back order 3-4 weeks.

June 17 called to verify status and was told that it would take 3 - 4 weeks from when order was placed.

August 1 called to verify order and was told another 2 weeks. Asked about a substitute and was told to go to the website and order the next level up (D80, the price was actually $100 less than the D60 that I had originally ordered, without lense).instead I retained the original order, did further research about the company and found that this is standard practice. I called again to cancel my order and move on.

Save your time and frustration by just skipping this company. If it sounds too good to be true then it probably is.
