Still waiting for the promised $325 rebate

In November I signed up for a cell phone plan at the Checkline Cellular dealer. According to my agreement, we would get $325 from the dealer if we sign-up with a new plan and also keep the same old phones we were using.

We did that assuming the rebate would come in a couple of weeks. I called and the owner Eric or one of the people working there, Craig, first would tell us that we actually need to wait just a little more, not mentioning the 181-day waiting period. Now I know why, b/c they get these calls from people everyday probably. Well as for us, weeks dragged out to months and in April they said I had to bring in my original contract, after which the rebate would be send to me in two weeks. Good thing I made a photo copy of that contract before handing it over to them. So I drop it off and once again, the old story begins. I call the place, the message picks up "Please leave a detailed message..." only their mailbox is perpetually full, for some mysterious reason. So I call several times in a row until Craig picks up. Now the guy always acts like he doesn't know who I am, tells me he can't help me, that I have to speak with the owner, and the owner is not in and will be in tomorrow. Like a script, everytime I call. And so the story repeats itself once every couple of weeks. My family has relocated in the meantime, so I can't just drop in. But I know a person who actually got his money out of them - only he had to go there every week, in person, and demand the rebate money and only after numerous visits was he able to get the rebate money in installments!
This business is conducting themselves highly unprofessionally. I have yet to see the promised rebate. They are banking on the fact that after half a year most people forget and do not want to pursue this issue. As someone else wrote about them "I still call them about my rebate and it's funny that they still have the same old reply. I am certainly not the only one getting duped from this dealer."
