Mitsubishi will not replace my warranted big screen tv per lemon law

Electronics and household app.

We purchased a Mitsubishi Big Screen 46 inch TV in 2003. We paid over 1000 for an extended warranty. It was in the shop (no easy task because this thing is large and not on wheels) 2 times in 4 times in 4 times in 2007 and so far 2 times in 2008.

This warranty expires in October. Each time I reported the same problem to Mitsubishi. A local repair shop would do the repair, but shortly after, TV would go out again. I thought I had enough on this thing to pull lemon law, however I have been told that the laws have changed and I cannot file a claim against Mitsubishi. Don't know what my recourse is, but the repair people tell me that the only 2 tv's worth purchasing today are Pioneer and Panasonic (the ones that go on the wall as opposed to floor models.

Am absolutely livid that I paid so much money for this tv and a big company like Mitsubishi will not own up to the fact that they sold me a defective item.
Don't buy from Mitsubishi—you will only be sorry in the long run.
