I purchased the hc-8000 about a month ago. Right off the bat I had problems. It was suppose to come with 500 ft. Of wire it only had 400ft, There was 2 collars shipped with the unit, only 1 worked, After installing the fence I put the second collar on my dog and had the unit on for about 3 hours. I turned the unit off and let my dog in the house. About a half a hour later my dog started to yelp. I ran in to the livingroom and he was getting zapped. I ran out to the garage to turn the unit off and it was not even on. I took the collar off him. On Monday I call the company only to be disconnected 4 times, put on hold 2, and hung up on 2. I left Nick Bungy 3 emails, Have not been contacted yet by him, Tried to leave numberous vioce messages, only to be told that his vioce box is full. Finally contacted a rep, only to be told that the collar is suppose to be removed when the dog comes into the house. It interfears with other frequentcies. Mind you the unit was not even on, Every time that I have spoke to a customer rep they were very rood and hastle. Very poor customer service dept. And I hope you don"t have to talk to Liz. She needs to be fired. It has been 4 weeks and still nody has gotten back to me.
