86 photo video... If it smells like horse@#$... It must be horse@#$

I purchased a sony camera on line from 86 Photo Video. Approx 4 weeks later, I received an email notice about an item being out of stock and stating this item was back ordered another 6 weeks.

I sent a "reply" email requesting confimation this back order notice was regarding the purchase from 86 photovideo... They responded with one word..."yes".

I requested additional information on this order from 86 Photo Video... Why it took this many weeks to realize this product was back ordered - confirmation of the original order - contact information to 86 Photo Video—they ignored my requests.

As a last effort, I looked up their company on google—saw several complaints similar to my experience - and contacted 86 Photo Video directly with the intent to retrieve the information 86 Photo Video had on file regarding my order.

After being on hold for about 30 minutes, 86 Photo Video answered. Once I gave the SO#, I was immedietely put on hold. Minutes later, another person answered. I repeated the SO# number. He informed this order had been cancelled. I requested exact dollars information on this order. I wanted to check that 86 Photo Video had not charged my bank any amount. They had my ATM credit card information. Rather than provide me any courtesy or information... 86 Photo Video blatently hung up on me.

This companies method of doing business felt shady from the beginning. I made extra efforts in giving 86 Photo Video the benefit of doubt... But 86 Photo Video proved to be unprofessional, did not produce a camera it advertised and this company has my credit card information. Very concerning.
