Direct Merchandising Better Business Bureau Info

Today I received notice in the mail stating that this company, DMI, was holding a Quickshot Camera and accessories and would send it to me when they received a check for $13.78 $1.00 shipping. I have never heard of this company before and the offer seemed suspicious to me, so I did a web search and found this site with numerous complaints of a similar nature.

I then searched the BBB's national site to see what they have on the company. The BBB has a report for Direct Merchandising, Inc. At the same address as DMI. Per the BBB's information, while there are several complaints, all have either been resolved or the complainant could not prove his case. I was surprised at their report, given the number of incidents reported here.

Perhaps, along with filing a report on usacomplaints.com, we should all file one with the BBB, or at least those of us unfortunate enough to have been bilked by these people.
