Sold a defective Playstation 3 console

My trip to NYC was tarnished by a shopping visit to this den of rogue traders. The sales man is very charming at first, quickly turning to dismissive and almost hostile if you question anything. All my instincts told me to make a run for it and avoid like the plague, however we were tired and just got sucked in.

I ended up purchasing a PS3 that I was promised was UK compatible for $800 (including a pair of binoculars which seem ok). My suspicions were aroused when the box appeared worn and the insturctions were all in Japanese, not very promising!

My worst fears came true on return to the UK. Machine useless, dead as a dodo. I have not yet contacted this firm to dispute my purchase, but I do not hold out much hope given the fact they are listed here!!!
