Parking lot speaker scam ripoff

After washing my truck at a car wash near the Savannah mall, some guy pulls up in a gold fairly new Dodge Caravan with tinted windows. "Hey guy, interested in buying some home speakers?" Anyhow after four "no thanks" and five price drops, he had me. New in the box "Theater Matrix" surround sound system. Magazine with raving reviews of system, laminated sales sheet with $2386 m.S.R.P. I even made him open the box so I could look at it and it seemed like quality stereo equipment.

Anyhow, went home hooked it up and guess what? Total garbage, lol. The guy was around 5'8, olive skinned, medium build and a very good con artist. Didnt take no for an answer and I said it four times, lol. Sooner or later he's gonna get popped by someone but there are many more out there to take his place. If it sounds to good to be true..
