Is a con artist fake ripoff. Nationwide

Electronics and household app.

My friend and I were taking our lunch break at the local store. While we were eating two men approached us saying that they had some extra speakers that they wanted to sell. They said they were home theater installers and that they had some extra speakers that had accidentally been shipped to them. So they wanted to sell me these speakers so they could make some cash, otherwise their boss was just going to keep them.

My friend and I looked at the speakers, the guys showed us an invoice, and showed us the speakers in a catalog with the specs and what not. The catalog showed the speakers to cost 650 dollars but the guy would be willing to part with them for 400 dollars a piece. We told him we really didn't have any money but I finally decided that this would be a great deal I couldn't pass up.

My friend and I aren't stupid though. We got the license plate of the blue minivan so we could possibly track down those two clowns and exact some revenge if the speakers didn't work. The plates were Washington license 157-NMO. Hope that helps some others.
