Ripoff, home stereo, surround sound speakers

I just got OWNED! I was coming out of the mall parking lot when a white male around the age of 35 rolled up to my car in a black SUV claiming that he had some extra speakers in his car from a delivery. He had a car stereo system and a home stereo surround sound system.

I agreed to look at them. Everything thing his said sounded true, like he knew what he was doing and has done it before. He did seem like he was in somewhat of a rush.

He had the home stereo system fully boxed up and even showed them to me. I'll admit, they looked very nice. He even had a "fake a$" catalog to go with it saying that they were worth alomst 2 grand and that he would get rid of them for 500 dollars.

Once I told him "no" at first he said well you can just sell them on ebay and make more off of it. He talked like thats what he was going to do.instead offered me to take them off his hands. I told him I only had a couple hundred bucks but he still wanted more.
After him going from 400 to 300 he said he can do it for 250 and i gave in like a complete retard. I cant believe I shook that guys hand after i told him about my Air Force career and how i went to Baghdad and what not.

Even after knowing i was in the service, protecting his freedom he still had the nerve to sucker me into that crap. Havent even tried the speakers yet
Not sure i even want to after hearing all the other stories. SCAM! Dont fall for it.
