Rebate Ripoff! Promised rebate for $75.00 Canadian when bought at BESTBUY in Oct16/05

Purchased at BEST BUY 8 months (OCT. 16/05) ago and keep calling their number after getting the rebate refusal do to some nonsense, but after calling they said sorry and it would be here in 4 weeks. That was in Mar 7th/06. That's 4 months after mailing in the rebate. Now they've changed their rebate number to an answering machine because I guess they're tired of people asking for their rebate. Looks like maybe I got screwed by BESTBUT and Hawking Tecnolgy.
