Rude, ignorant, dishonest, could care less about customers!

I have been a customer of Worldcom for about 8 months. At first I had issues with them about my billing-I too was being charged like $70 a month, they said I had free long distance but only long distance I paid for local calls... So once I got my account to a normal rate things were fine... For awhile...

Recently, I have been experiencing poor service and reception. I cannot even place calls from my own house!!! I cut people off in mid conversation (business calls I mind you), people go straight to voice mail without my phone ever ringing, I have constant static wherever I am and I don't even travel further than 25miles outside of the city.

So the past week I have probably spent about 5 hours on hold with these incompetent customer service and techinicians and have gotten absolutely no HELP. They all have been rude and ill informed about what can be done and what I should do.

The person who offended me most however was a MANAGER!!! I've been in customer service for 5yrs and never once behaved like he did. I mean I am getting no service, and no calls yet these people tell me there is nothing they can do? He told me that there is no way to end my agreement, even though its not my fault their service SUCKS!!! I mean why would someone want a phone and not be able to use it? How is that possible? Does Worldcom not want customers? So now I have dropped to the cheapest plan possible and will have to pay it monthly till my contract is up.

I've read pages of complaints about this company-something has to be done!!! This company is swindling money out of tons of people who think that coming in they are getting a great deal... I mean I paid $0 for my phone and activation but now I can't use it...
