Ripoff will send it out without extra charge, not New Jersey

I ordered Nikon D70 body for $499 in early June. Of course I called back to find they were "out of stock". When I called back in July they were still "out". My sales rep, Ryan said they had one mre Nikon D70S for $100 extra that he would send out at no extra charge beceause "You were patient". Of course I thought this was a great deal, so I said send it. Surprise, surprise, surprise! My bill was $799! I called Ryan to find out what happened. I said if it was my misunderstanding then I will gladly pay it. Having denied everything he referred me to the service department to verify the recording of our conversation and abruptly hung up on me. It took me about 1 week to get hold of someone to give me straight answer. All I wanted to do was clarify the confusion. When I asked for a playback of the recorded transaction they kept putting me off.

After a lengthy discussion they said it was only available for internal documentation review... in other words, they didn't have the recording. Yep, I fell for the bait and switch routine. Buyer beware!
