J. D Marvel
Mini-tv/fm antenna. Don't be suckered

In January I received a bunch of coupons/offers in the mail. One was for the J.D. Marvel mini-antenna which allegedly improves tv and radio reception. This is now March and although my cheque ($37.44) was cashed on Jan. 15 no merchandise or explanation for the delay has been received.
I went to their web-site and was amazed to find a vast litany of similar complaints. I e-mailed J.D. Marvel, but based on the experiences of others do not expect quick action. I did mention that I work for a newspaper and that this sounded like a great scam story.
Just thought I'd add this to the file on these guys in hopes that others will not be suckered.
