I ordered a Body only Canon Rebel digital 300d. Within an hour of my order a salesman called me to confirm the order and offer me a extended battery for a one time discount of $89. That sounded wrong, I checked ebay and saw all kinds of extended batteries for about $10.
I refused this offer and some other cheese he was selling. Of course now I am wondering about my order and call to check its status a week later, I am told they oversold and my order was canceled. If i didnt call I wouldn't have known and I wonder if i agreed to their over priced add-ons would I have gotten the deal?
It appears they are using a low price to draw people in and then talk them into stuff they may or may not need but is inflated in price. I will be watching my credit card VERY carefully over the next year since they have my info. Pay a little more - go somewhere else!
