The jet was provided for as a Christmas gift. While using in the hover mode the jet would start to hover and then fl backwards regardless of the inputs as indicated in the user manual. As the problem got worse it would not hover, but as soon as power was increased the jet would take off and fly backwards at a high rate of speed uncontrollable. Called the hot line and spoke to Adrian who attempted to talk me through a rebot and gyro correction which did not help. He advised I was within the time to make a claim.
