Inphonic
Ripoff mail-in rebate scam

Electronics and household app.

In Feb I bought two AT&T Wireless phones produced by Samsung and Motorola through an offer on the Internet by InPhonic. When I received the phones, rebate forms were included for each. The instructions were explicit that I was not to send the rebates in until I received my second bill showing that the first bill had been paid. My request for rebates was rejected because, I was told, I had not specified the rebate amount. This was not true, the rebate form was pre-printed and rebate amount for $100 was printed in bold on top.
