American Values - WellNet ripoff, scam artist, unethical, dishonest, deceitful

Was contacted by telemarketer from American Values on June 22,04. I was told that if I agreed to a 1 time charge of $3.95 on July 11,04 to evaluate this money saving program. I would receive $200.00 in gas vouchers immediately!

I recieved the package they sent me via U.S. Mail 5 days laters but discovered that the program was rigged and there were no gas vouchers available immediately.

I called American Values and cancelled as was directed in cover letter but was charged immediately, instead of the July 11th for $3.95.

I was then charged another 2 charges of $3.95 & $99.95 by their sister company, WellNet. I contacted both American Values & WellNet and was told I would receive a refund within 15 days.

Multiple phone calls to each company to no avail and still waiting.
