I have just began to fight!!!

I just last month recieved charges on my discover credit card for cic credit monitoring services. This is my story...
I was going to pay the fee for seeing my credit I even understood that it would be free for 30 days and then I would be charged a monthly fee. I began to fill out the paper work and they for the most part got my s.S. Number and credit card info for the charges and then booted me off the web site. I never went back to finish filling out the forms, I never even hit the submit button. So in my mind I never was a acctual client.

However since they got what they needed they never contacted me to tell me of my membership. So then all they had to do was not make any waves for 30 days and then they could go to town charging we $10.00 a month in fees. Not knowing of my membership I then went over my balance on my credit card, that alone is a $30.00 fee.

So when all was said and done I now owe the cic credit monitoring service $20.00, and Discover Card another $30.00, for a grand total of $50.00. For nothing, litterally nothing, I never even went to see my credit report and to tell you the truth no longer even want to see the report that cost me $50.00.

The rep. That I talk to from cic barely spoke english, but from what I understood was that they don't give back charges for only $10.00 a month they only give back the fee if it was for the year long one. I then told her I went to this website and asked her if it were true that they were having all these problems and were in fact named in a class action law suite she said "yes, but those were people who didn't know that they had been signed up. You should read what you sign up for." I am so angry at this point that I hang up on her. I am confused what am I? Someone who didn't know she was signed up...

I then contacted my Discover card the two reps. That I talked to were very nice and very helpfull. They said that they would give me a temp. Charge of payment, and question the company for me. They also took of the overcharge fee. They said that they would contact me if they had any other questions. So far Discover appears to be very kind and helpfull.
