I was an graduate student at Post Univ with an "A" average and toward the end of a term I was hospitalized.in addition I had enrolled in another course for the next term. I was hospitalized for over a month and when I returned home I found out that I had been expelled because I had made two F's in the two courses. I appealed by explaining that I was hospitalized for over a month and it was impossible for me attend class. I only made the F's because I was incapacitated in the hospital. According to school policy one of the legitimate reasons for an absence is hospitalization, however although I provided documentation that I was hospitalized my petition for reinstatment was denied. Post did not honor their own policy. Lastly I was charged 1,500 dollars for the course I was unable to attend because I was in the hospital and they have refused to refund or dismiss the charge.
