Stay away from this law school

Roger Williams School of Law...

All of the below is from a bitter, angry, and ripped-off RWU Law graduate.

The plain reality is that you should not attend this law school. If you do attend this school, you will be left with 120-170k in debt, with little or no job prospects.

The only graduates who get jobs (for the most part): 1) Plan to work in RI (for their whole lives), 2) have connections (which means more than just hard work in most cases, it also means being handed the job by people who can "hook" you up), 3) get very very very very very lucky, or 4) finish in the top 5% of their class with superb working experience before graduation.

Aside from the select few fortunate enough to be in the above situations, RWU Law graduates will never get a legal job in any market. The truth is most (yes - MOST) RWU Law grads will not be lawyers - a little odd because they went to LAW SCHOOL, right???

I am preaching about jobs because those are supposed to be the end result of the long and hard law school process (including the bar exam).

For those who will think this is just a "flame" or "troll" post, I can assure you it is not. Please do your research before attending this law school (great place to start online is top law school forums).

Before closing, I would like to add that I do not hold the quality of the RWU Law education responsible for the situation that their graduates are faced with because IMHO the RWU Law education is adequate legal training.

I am just saying the reality. That reality is that RWU Law is a tier 4 law school (which means it is among the worst ranked of the ABA approved schools), the economy is terrible, and the school is located in RHODE ISLAND - the state with possibly the worst economy in the US at the moment. When you combine all of those factors, the answer is clear - if you want to work as an attorney... DO NOT GO TO RWU LAW.

Thus, do not attend RWU Law because you will not have a lawyer job after graduation, and you will have well over 100k (150-160 range is average with interest) in nondischargeable debt.

P.S.- this all assumes that you actually pass the bar!

Do not make the mistake of believing the above will not happen to you!!!
