Ohio Center for Broadcasting is a joke and a ripoff and has a terrible reputation around the country

Since the first day I signed up at the Easton location I was skeptical. I didn't understand why they chose the Easton location for a Radio school, they had cubicles as the studios it didn't make sense. The entrance exam was a joke too, they asked people to read a paragraph and if you did then you're in. I went in to the office to sign up and meet with admissions four times because they kept losing my paper work and their staff where moving around, it was very confusing. I was very close to saying screw it when they told me that they were moving to a bigger location. I decided to stick with it and see how it goes.

I was in the very first class of the new school. I felt like we were the guinea pigs for them to try things out on us. Our first instructor was an idiot and didn't know what he was doing. He would give us tests and the answers with it all the time. I wasn't learning anything. After a while he was fired and they brought in another instructor who got us threw the rest of the year.

The equipment at the school was terrible they didn't have studios set up. They never gave us an agenda, we just learned what ever the instructors felt like teaching us that day.

That school was the biggest waste of money I have ever spent. Since I graduated I have heard many complaints and problems with that school from many different people. My biggest problem with this school is their reputation is so bad I had to take it off my resume because employers would not hire me. I have been told many times to never mention their name when applying for jobs.

Take my advise and save your self the head ache and money.
