Complete rip off Internet

I started attending this university this fall, applying and getting in was fairly simple. As soon as I was able to register they referred me to their "student portal" where it had tabs that made it hard to fine out how and where to register, I contacted the register's office and their solution was to refer me back to the "student portal" Not so bad right? Wrong! Matter of fact dead wrong.

I register for a microbiology class the teacher was a completely crazy, none of the material that we were studying was referenced on the test. It got so bad that all of the students were responding to each others emails trying to get a collective email together, each was describing that we were all failing the course. One student even walked over a stack of our emails to the dean of student services (you know who you are) and the solution for that is that the class would be graded on a "curve". I went to take my proctored test and a site and they required the site to provide me the student with the materials (i.E. Calculator and test sheets) which was something that they said had never been done in the 12 years that they had the proctoring contract and irritated them. I dropped the course with the register's office which they claimed they did but, it was never taken out of my online course front page.

Another issue I had was requesting financial aid, which I did before I started the courses, I was never told that I had to submit my taxes so they just sat their on someone's desk in the financial aid department when I emailed them they said oh by the way your financial aid has not been processed because we are awaiting your tax forms. I submitted my tax forms which I filed married filing seperate and they said that they would need my husbands tax returns I asked them for what they said that they would need that to process my financial aid I told them that I never listed my husband on my FAFSA because he was not working and they told me that they would not process my financial until they received his tax returns. Who files tax returns when you have no money coming in? They charged me for the class that I withdrew from and the other class that I remained registered for I asked them what was the payment arrangement and they told me that I had to pay in full and that the amount would be collecting interest.

This school is a complete rip off I have found another university to attend, that has better classes that require more than a test and a discussion board to meet the requirements. The staff at this university are completely useless they will only email you when they are responding to an email from you. I will never attend this school again and I hope that whoever is reading this will choose to find a better university than this one and that more people come forward so that this school can be better monitored. If you are paying good money to a university than you should recieve the best education possible but, you will not find a trace of that at this university at all!
