Ripoff Dishonest got my hopes up, made me feel worthless, made a fool of me to my family and friends, discouraged me from doing anything worthwhile

The International Siciety of Poets sent me a letter saying that I won a silver bowl, medallion, membership into the society for a year, etc. And said that because I wasn't able to attend, which I never was in contact with them or I would have gone, they would have someone else take my place. I am supposed to send in $169.00 for them to process all this.

I don't believe most advertisements so I checked it out on this site and found out that my "intuition" was right, everyone else got the same letter and were very disappointed. Well I'm not going to send the money and lose it as I am disabled and on a very fixed income.

I'm just very upset and hurt because my poem was really good and I'm hoping they don't put their name to it. Go get them and make them pay for what they did. Maybe make them send the "real" articles to the people who did have good poems but let some "real" people be the judges. Thanks for lettimg me get the steam off.
